The Centre
The Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation is a 2,493 square metre innovation facility in the heart of Taunton. The purpose-built Centre provides a hub for innovative businesses in the digital economy, offering brand new grade A office suites, co-working, collaboration and event space over four floors.
Our aim is to bring together like-minded digital and data businesses in an environment where innovation and collaboration can thrive.

Situated in a fantastic location, the Centre is less than ten minutes from Junction 25 of the M5 motorway and adjacent to Taunton Railway Station with its direct rail links to Exeter, Bristol and London. It’s only a short walk to Taunton’s independent quarter with its independent shops, cafés and restaurants.
Floor plans
Ground floor
The ground floor main entrance leads directly into a large multi-use space, which will be used as a reception area, café and event space. There is also a separate event space, three offices, a breakout space and a meeting room. All floors have toilets and are accessible by both a lift and stairs.
Lower ground floor
The lower ground floor contains a large workshop space and a podcast room. There is also a secure bicycle store outside.
First floor
The first floor contains two large open-plan offices and a central hot desk open workspace to the side of the main staircase. The large office spaces can be subdivided to suit business need.
Second floor
The second floor contains two large open-plan offices and a central hot desk open workspace to the side of the main staircase. The large office spaces can be subdivided to suit business need.
Workspace
The Centre offers a variety of bright, modern workspaces including private offices, co-working spaces, break-out space, hot desks and options to create bespoke workspace solutions.
Private offices are available of flexible lease terms and vary in size from 41.39 square metres to 286.71 square metres.
Our co-working spaces are designed to inspire and encourage collaboration with likeminded professionals. Our workspace membership packages offer unlimited access to a dedicated desk in a co-working environment.
If you’re looking for something a bit more flexible, our hot desks are bookable on a pay as you go basis.
All our members get access to break out space including meeting pods, café tables, armchairs and kitchen facilities.
Members also benefit from discounted rates when booking our meeting rooms and event space.
Meetings and events
Meetings and events: Whether you’re hosting a conference, a networking event, a board meeting or a workshop, we have a variety of spaces to suit your needs.
Our bright and modern event space can accommodate up to 100 delegates. The conference room boasts a 130 inch screen with full audio solution and can be set out in boardroom style, theatre or classroom to suit your needs.
All our air conditioned meeting rooms have high spec AV facilities.

The Centre is easily accessible by train, bus and bike. There is a limited amount of on-site parking, however the Centre is adjacent to Taunton railway station which has a large multi-story car park.
The Centre is a short walk from Taunton’s independent quarter with a variety of independent shops, cafés and restaurants.
